Richard J. “Tug” Worst was born in Columbus, Ohio. In 1972, his family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where he was raised and attended school. Tug graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 1992, Tug graduated from the Willamette University College of Law, in Salem, Oregon. After graduation he moved back to Twin Falls where he began the practice of law.
Generally, Tug emphasizes Civil Litigation and Business Transactions. Tug has successfully prosecuted, defended and tried several high-profile cases in and around the Magic Valley.
Tug serves on the board of several established charitable organizations. He is also a member of the Idaho State Bar, American Inns of Court and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.
Tug’s family includes his wife Kari and their two children, Madison and Benjamin. Together they enjoy sailing, mountain biking, and fly fishing.
